Terms & Conditions

Everyone who participates in the Edmonton Ice Cream Run agrees to be bound by:

Legal. Indemnity, Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk and Release

The Participant, my executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin, successors and assignees do hereby indemnify, defend, hold harmless, waive, release and discharge Mountain Gorilla Conservation Society of Canada, also referred to as MGCSC, its directors, officers, agents, employees, event sponsors and / or their representatives, event volunteers, as well as any government that may have any connection with the event of all liabilities, loss, expenses, fines, suits, claims, demands, property theft, action or causes of action of any kind and howsoever caused, including negligence, or by reason of an act or default by the Participant or guests and including property damage, personal injury or death resulting from, but not limited to, my participation in the event and the travel to and from this event.  The indemnity shall, where the breach, non-performance, damage to property, personal injury or death, survive the termination of this Agreement.

 

I acknowledge the risks of the event and assume all responsibilities in my participating in the event. I understand that at this event or related activities I may be photographed, filmed and/or videotaped. I agree to allow my name, photo, video or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the event holders, producers, sponsors, organizers and assigns without obligation of payment. I understand the fees I pay are non-refundable.

The provisions of the Indemnification shall survive the termination of this Agreement with respect to any claims or liability accruing prior to or after termination. In the event of any dispute, MGCSC shall be entitled to collect reasonable costs and attorney fees.

Food will be served at this event that may contain dairy, nuts or allergens.

 

I have read this waiver carefully. My participation in the event acknowledges my acceptance of the Indemnity, Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk and Release.
